Time and Frequency Transmission over Optical Fiber and Its Applications in Aerospace Measurement

Abstract
A time and frequency transmission technique based on dispersion induced delay of optical fiber link has been proposed to meet the strict synchronization requirements in applications such as aerospace measurement.The principle of the transmission system has been analyzed.Several experiments have been carried out with frequency stability of 6.5×10-14 at 1 s and 2.1×10-17 at 104 s,respec-tively.The transmission system has been used in a lunar radio measurement of the Chang’E-3 spacecraft and a connected element inter-ferometry system.关键词
