Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical symptoms of elderly patients with diabetes and treatment effect with metformin. Methods:50 elderly patients with diabetes were selected.We analyzed the main symptoms of the patients.All patients were treated with metformin.We observed the therapeutic effect.Results:In elderly patients with diabetes,high blood sugar was the main standard,with more drinking,more urine,more food,weight loss,fatigue,obesity and so on,and patients often were associated with 2 or more than 2 kinds of diseases.After metformin treatment,the blood glucose of the patients tended to be normal,and the clinical symptoms were significantly controlled.Conclusion:The effect of metformin in the treatment of senile diabetes was remarkable.关键词
