Abstract
Objective:To observe and analyze the effect of periodontal basic treatment on the blood glucose level of chronic periodontitis patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:100 chronic periodontitis patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected as the study objects.They were randomly divided into two groups with 50 cases in each.The control group was given drug treatment.The observation group was given periodontal basic treatment.The blood glucose levels and periodontal indexes of two groups were compared.Results:After treatment,the fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 hours blood glucose,gingival sulcus bleeding index,periodontal probing depth of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The periodontal basic treatment in chronic periodontitis patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus can alleviate the periodontal inflammation of patients,but also reduce the blood glucose level of patients.It is worth in clinical application and promotion.关键词
