Abstract
Objective:To understand the application of proton pump inhibitors for injection in our hospital as well as the development tendency of the application , and provide reference for clinical rational use of the drug . Methods:A total of 1 239 medical records of inpatients were randomly selected from April to June in 2015,and evaluated for indication of proton pump inhibitors , administration juncture , medical course and dosage . Results:The rational application rate of proton pump inhibitors for injection in this hospital was 72 . 32%( 958/1 239 ) . A total of 281 cases of irrational use were observed , of which 38 . 60% were considered due to overdose , 30 . 88% due to long medical course , and 17 . 89% due to no indications . The medical courses of proton pump inhibitors were not less than 4 d in 62 . 33% of patients . Conclusion:Irrational application of proton pump inhibitors was found in our hospital , indicating that the relevant management should be strengthened . The standards and norms for application of proton pump inhibitor should be developed , and more EBM evidence should be explored and accumulated in practice so as to prevent excessive use of proton pump inhibitors .关键词
