摘要

Abstract

Objective To establish an orthotropic transplatiation mofel of human pancreatic carcinoma in nude mouse. Methods The smal piece of human pancreatic carcinoma from xenograft was implanted subcapsularly in the tail of pancreas in 20 female BALB/c nude mice. The growth of transplanted tumors were observed with microPET imaging 4 weeks after operation, then the animals were sacrificed by cervical dislocation and the samples of tumor were obtained. Results Four weeks after implantation, the orthotopic transplatation nude mice model was established with a success rate of 100.0%. MicroPET showed that the mean uptake value of 18FDG in tumor mass was (4.30±0.35). Conclusion The orthotopic human pancreatic cancer nude mouse model has been successful y established, and MicroPET can be used to examine the growth of transplanted pancreatic carcinoma in nude mice.
