代谢综合征患者人格特征探析
Association between metabolic syndrome and personality characteristics of patients

Abstract
Objective To analyze the association of metabolic syndrome with personality characteristics of patients. Methods One hundred and eighty three patients with metabolic syndrome(MS) and 332 non- MS subjects (controls) were enrol ed in the study. The personality traits were measured by Zuckerman- Kuhlman personality scale and the polygraph questionnaire scores greater than 3 points were removed. The association of personality data with clinical and biochemical indexes of 515 effective subjects was analyzed with Pearson correlation analysis and Logistic regression analysis. Results The neurotic and anxiety and hostile scores in MS patients were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.05). Impulse was positively correlated with BMI and waist circumference, and negatively correlated with triglyceride and 2h- postprandial blood glucose levels. Neurotic temperament and anxiety were positively correlated with fasting glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin levels. Attacks and hostile were positively correlated with BMI and waist circumference, blood glucose and triglycerides (P<0.05). Age, alcohol drinking, male gender, hostility, anxiety were the risk factors for the prevalence of metabolic syndrome. Conclusion Metabolic syndrome is associated with the personality traits of nervosity and anxiety, attack and hostile;psychological counseling and de-compression of lifestyle may be of value in intervention of metabolic syndrome.关键词
