Abstract
Objective To explore clinical effects of nerve block induced by adriamycin in three variable concentrations of adriamycin in treating trigeminal neuralgia. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed referring to clinical data of 67 pa-tients with trigeminal neuralgia in our hospital from April 2013 to April 2014.All patients received nerve block by adriamycin, who were divided into group A(0.33%,22 cases),group B(0.50%,22 cases)and group C(1.00%,23 cases)according to the concentration of adriamycin. The pain scores and the effect of the treatment in the three groups were observed two weeks,6 months and 12 months after treatment. Results Pain scores of all groups 2 weeks,6 months and 12 months after treatment were markedly decreased than those before treatment(P <0.05),which were higher in group B and group C compared with group A(P <0.05),and difference was not found between group B and group C 2 weeks as well as 6 months after treatment(P>0.05),but which was found 12 months after treatment(P <0.05).2 weeks,6 months and 12 months after treatment,favora-ble efficiency rate in group B and group C was obviously higher than that in group A(P <0.05),there was no difference be-tween group B and group C 2 weeks and 6 months after treatment(P >0.05),but group B showed higher rate than group C 12 months after treatment(P <0.05).Conclusion The all different concentrations of adriamycin inducing nerve block may work well in patients with trigeminal neuralgia, and concentrations of 0.50% and 1.00% take advantages over 0.33%,the long-term curative effect of 1.00% concentration may be better than that of 0.50% concentration.关键词
