Abstract
Objective To probe application of functional exercises in the nursing care of patients with thoracolumbar fracture merging spinal cord injury.Methods A retrospective analysis involving 90 cases with thoracolumbar fracture merging spinal cord injury in our hospital from May 2014 to May 201 5 was performed.All cases were divided into routine nursing group and functional exercise group according to admission order,each group had 45 cases.The rehabilitation rate,incidence of com-plications,anxiety and depression scores between two groups were compared.Results Rehabilitation rate of the routine nurs-ing group was 62.22%,significantly lower than 82.22% of the functional exercise group with statistical difference(c2 =4.79, P <0.05).The routine nursing group(22.22%)showed tremendously higher incidence of complications than the functional ex-ercise group(8.89%)(c2 =4.62,P <0.05).Both anxiety and depression scores in the routine nursing group were significantly lower than those in the functional exercise group(t=4.32,P <0.05;t=0.05,P <0.05).Conclusion Additional functional ex-ercise on the basis of routine nursing care can improve rehabilitation efficacy,reduce incidence of complications and decrease both anxiety and depression scores in treatment of thoracolumbar fracture merging spinal cord injury,which is worthy of popu-larization and application.关键词
