摘要

Abstract

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things and wireless sensor networks, the application of wireless sensor network which based on the Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI)has become a hot research area. In the underground tunnel, wireless signal transmission will be susceptible to multipath, reflection, diffraction and interference of tunnel walls, consequently makes it difficult to be accurately detected. In order to accurately analyze the features of the underground radio signals, the group deploys a wireless sensor network with multiple network node, which based on a practical underground condition, and analyzes various features of the RSSI in this case by a large number of experiments, a large amount of collected data. The experimental results show that the RSSI underground can also has high stability, the mean error of ranging is about 0.8 m. Therefore, the ranging technology based on RSSI underground is feasible.
