摘要

Abstract

In this article,the flow characteristics of a wind capturing hood,which has compressor and diffuser,are analyzed through Fluent software.Based on windward angle and flow guiding,four finite element models are established for comparative analysis of the wind capturing hood performance characters in a multi-directional flow and turbulent environment.The research indicates that wind capturing hood can increase the wind velocity and concentrates a wide range of wind energy in a small area,which increases the driving force of the wind.Radial arrangement of the deflector grid can lead multi-directional flow to directional one,suppressing the turbulence and enabling the wind turbine to achieve universal windward.This kind of structure will help the wide use of wind energy technology in urban area.
