Abstract
Objective To compare clinical outcomes of modiifed V-Y plasty and Crosscutting and longitudinal suture plasty to open outer canthus. Methods From January, 2015 to January, 2016,we collected 122 patients in Milanbavii Medical Aesthetic Hospital who had accepted outer canthus and double eyelid plasty, simultaneously, or epicanthus plasty. According to different ways of opening outer canthus,these patients were divided into A and B groups.Patients in"A"group accepted crosscutting and longitudinal suture plasty,and in"B"group,patients accepted modiifed V-Y plasty.We adopted statistical analysis to compare the postoperative effects of"A"and"B"groups,from patients' satisfaction rates, outer canthus shrinkage rates and the range of lateral canthus. Results After postoperative 3 months, satisfaction rates and the range of lateral canthus in B group were both higher than A group(P<0.05), and outer canthus shrinkage rates in B group was lower than A group(P<0.05). Conclusion Modified V-Y plasty can open outer canthus wider,and its shrinkage rates were less ,but its operation time was longer,and postoperative swelling degree was more serious. Therefore, we should choose different types of surgery for patients,according to speciifc conditions and requirements.关键词
