Abstract

FOX‐7 crystals were obtained by recrystallization from different solvents ,such as N ,N‐dimethyl for‐mamide(DMF)/H2O ,dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)/H2O and N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone(NMP)/H2O ,the morphology of crystals was characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM ) ,the crystal form and phase transition were an‐alyzed by in‐situ variable temperature X‐ray diffraction(in‐situ XRD) ,and the thermal properties were tested by dif‐ferential scanning calorimetry(DSC) .The results show that the crystal morphology of FOX‐7 obtained by recrystal‐lization from different solvents has bigger difference ,and the quality of crystal obtained from DMSO/H2 O is better than the other two kinds of solvents .The crystal form and phase transition process of FOX‐7 crystal obtained from three kinds of solvents are the same ,namely ,the crystal form of FOX‐7 isα‐phase at room temperature ,α→βphase transition occurs at 120℃ andβ→γphase transition occurs at 185℃ .The 5s explosion temperature of FOX‐7 crys‐tals increases by 4-9℃ ,showing that the thermal stability is enhanced .
