摘要

Abstract

A Ziegler-Natta catalyst(BCN) with MgCl2 as support and TiCl4 as main part of the catalyst for ethylene polymerization was prepared by the addition of a modifier. The chemical composition and morphology of the BCN catalyst were characterized by means of titration, spectrophotometer and SEM. The results showed that,Ti content in the BCN catalyst with sphere-like morphology was high up to 8.9%(w),the average particle size was 6.28 µm and its distribution was narrow. The hydrogen sensitivity of the BCN catalyst was studied. It was indicated that,the BCN catalyst had high activity and high hydrogen sensitivity in the slurry polymerization of ethylene. When p(H2)∶p(C2H4) was between (0.28∶0.45)-(0.68∶0.05),the melt index(10 min) of the product polyethylene(PE) was adjustable between 0.91-1 000 g. The particle size distribution of the product PE synthesized was narrow,which was beneficial to steady long period running of PE plants.
