Analysis on the Genetic Effects of Thousand Kernel Weight in Brassica napus L.

Abstract
The genetic effects of thousand kernel weight (TKW)were elucidated with the additive dominance model based on the incomplete diallel crosses of six parental lines of Brassica napus L.The results showed that both of additive and dominant effects were detected for the trait of thousand kernel weight in Brassica napus L.,and the additive effect was high-er than the dominant effect,which means that the lines with high additive genetic effect could be served as the ideal breed-ing parents.The hybrid combination test should be focused on the parents with high additive genetic effect and combina-tions with high and significant dominant genetic effect,taking,for example,the combination of P3 P6 crossed from No.3 and No.6 parental lines of Brassica napus L.关键词
