“Chineseness” is an important concept heatedly discussed by Chinese scholars, thus leading to controversies. Dif-ferent statements about the origin of the Chinese civilization, “cultural China” and deconstruction of post-modern theories reveal people's various understanding about modern China and the traditional relationship.关键词
