Image Schema Motivations behind Conventional Conversational Implicature
摘要
Abstract
There is a lack of the study of linguistic motivations, especially image schema motivations behind conventional con-versational implicature ( CCI) . There are two kinds of motivations behind CCI. On the one hand, there are such motivations as qualia structures and idealized models which express the semantic contents and features of language expressions; on the other hand, there are motivations that express social contents in which a language expression is used. This study shows that image sche-mata play an irreplaceable role in obtaining CCI.关键词
