The Influence of Western Modern Love Poems on LIU Yan-ling’ s Poetic Creation
摘要
Abstract
LIU Yan-ling, the first generation of vernacular poet, translated many western poems, focusing on the love poems in Britain, America, Belgium and France from the mid-late 19th century to the early 20th century. Western poems had a great in-fluence on LIU Yan-ling’ s poetic creation. The Sailor and The Story of a Voyager, LIU’ s two popular poems, not only imitated but used western modern love poems for reference in terms of poetic style, subject matter as well as types of literature, which pro-vides a new perspective for studying LIU Yan-ling, the poet from Anhui province and his poems as well.关键词
