Abstract
DTM method (Digital Terrain Model) for earthwork calculation, refers to using the measured terrain points and feature points to establish triangulation network, and to calculate the earthwork volume for a given area. At present, this method has been widely used in the ifeld of engineering measurement earthwork balance and calculation. It’s the ifrst time that DTM earthwork calculation has been applied to identify mineral resource values by illegal exploitation in Beijing area, and take the illegal mining sand and gravel as a case in Mulin Town, Shunyi District, Beijing. By application method, process research and calculation analysis, we have accurately calculated the illegal mining volumes of sand and gravel in the area, which are accordant with statement ones by the illegal mining persons. The method has been recognized by the relevant departments. So DTM has the application prospects to estimate the mineral resource volumes by illegal exploitation and to identify their values.关键词
