饲粮添加苹果果胶寡糖对断奶大鼠生长性能、抗氧化能力和肠道健康的影响
Effect of Dietary Apple Pectic Oligosaccharide Supplementation on Growth Performance, Antioxidant Capacity and Intestinal Health of Weaned Rats

Abstract
This experiment was conducted to determine the effect of dietary apple pectic oligosaccharide ( APOS) supplementation on the growth performance, antioxidant capacity and intestinal health of weaned rats. Twenty-four healthy weaned Wistar rats, based on the initial body weight, were assigned randomly to 1 of 2 diets: the basal diet and the 800 mg/kg APOS supplemental diet. The experiment duration was 14 d. The re-sults showed that dietary APOS supplementation significantly increased average daily gain and average daily feed intake ( P<0.05) , and significantly decreased feed to gain ratio ( P<0.05) of weaned rats. Supplementa-tion of APOS in diet also significantly enhanced the total antioxidant capacity ( P<0.05) , significantly reduced the malondialdehyde content ( P<0.05) in the serum of weaned rats. In addition, dietary APOS supplementa-tion could significantly increase the ratio of villus height to crypt depth of jejunum mucosa and the Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium populations of cecal digesta ( P<0.05) , and significantly reduce the Escherichia coli pop-ulation of cecal digesta ( P<0.05) in weaned rats. These results suggest that supplementation of APOS in diets may increase the growth performance of weaned Wistar rats, which could be due to that APOS could improve the antioxidant capacity, jejunum mucosal morphology and intestinal flora structure of rats.关键词
