摘要

Abstract

The latest progress in the fields of service condition of hot-forging die and the surface modification and strengthening for die working surface was tentatively reviewed in a thought provoking way. The preliminary results show that the boriding technology is an effective method for improving hot-forging die life. The discussion centered on the state-of the-art synthesis technologies of the improvement of toughness for boriding layer fabricated by pack-boriding methods,the intensively studied subjects of basic interest,and the development trends.
