摘要

Abstract

This research investigates the consumer behavior characteristics regarding luxury goods in the context of contemporary China, with the aim to yield insights into the profiles, the internal logics,and the development trends of luxury consumption behavior of Chinese con-sumers. The study advances the literature and the theory concerning luxury goods consumer be-havior. The results provide valuable information for a number of business activities, ranging from product development and branding strategies to communications management, and thus the findings have significant implications for the prestige brand owners and practitioners in the luxury industry, whether domestic or foreign market.
