Abstract
Objective:To investigate the correlation of cystatin C with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Methods:Vibration perception threshold ( VPT) was determined in 240 patients with T2DM treated in our hospital during January 2012 to October 2014 ,base on VPT Value , patients were divided into high risk of neuropathic foot ulcers group( VPT) >25V, n=82) , moderate risk group( VPT 16-25V, n=72), low risk group(VPT<15V ,n=86), and Cys-CFPG, HbA1c, TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C were also determined.Results:Sex , BMI,TG, TC, HDL-C and LDL-C had no significant difference among the three groups (P >0.05).Compared with low risk group , the age, disease course, Cys-C, FPG, HbA1c in moderate risk group and high risk group were increased ( P<0.01) , and Cys-C was higher in high risk group than in moderate group (P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that the disease course, Cys-C, FPG、HbA1c were independent influencing factors for DPN.Conclusion:The concentration of Cys-C in high risk group and moderate group is elevated, and is related with the level of foot ulcers risk, Cys-C indicated a onefold higher risk of DPN.关键词
