Abstract

This work aimed to purify flaxseed lignans by macroporous adsorption resin.Three macroporous adsorption resins ( X-5,D101,and AB-8) were used to adsorption of lignans. The macroporous resin X-5 was selected for lignan purification.The sample concentration (10 mg/mL) and sample loading (25 mL) were optimized by dynamic adsorption and desorption experiments. This work focused on the effects of different elution methods.The highest purity of 85. 49% (recovery rate 57. 59%) and the highest recovery rate of 75. 05% ( purity 59. 30%) were achieved with 60% ethanol solutions as eluent respectively by using isocratic elution. Meanwhile, the gradient elution could obtain a variety of products with different purities,and the total recovery rate was 77. 63%.
