摘要

Abstract

Simultaneous anaerobic removal of carbon and nitrogen is important for sewage treatment. In this work,Bacillus cereus GY-45 was selected for the purpose. The anaerobic growth and the abilities of denitrification and removal of COD by B. cereus GY-45 were studied. Results showed that under anaerobic conditions,strain GY-45 grew rapidly and the value of OD600 reached 1. 0 at 24 h. The removal rates of total nitrogen and COD reached 83. 0 mg/( L·h ) and 44. 5 mg/( L·h ) , respectively, and the main gaseous products comprised CO2,N2,and a small amount of N2 O. These results revealed that B. cereus GY-45 could achieve high efficiency of carbon and nitrogen removal in anaerobic conditions, and possessed application potential.
