摘要

Abstract

Obj ective]The study was to establish a comprehensive system for assessing the ornamental characteristics of Dianthus plants,and to provide technological support for selecting of Dianthus plants species in greening.[Method] The ornamental characteristics of eight Dianthus plants,such as flowering,flower diameter,flower color,flower crack,plant height,leaf length,leaf width,etc.,were measured.A comprehensive evaluation on ornamental charac-teristics was given based on subordinate function value analysis.[Results]The results indicated that the difference in ornamental value of eight different Dianthus plants.The bigger subordinate function values,the higher comprehensive ornamental values.The order of comprehensive ornamental values in eight different Dianthus plants from high to low was as follow:D2 Dianthus Chinensis L.> D7 Dianthus Barbatus ‘FLORAL LACE CRIMSON’> D1 Dianthus Plumarius > D8 Dianthus Barbatus F1 ‘DIAMOND MIX’> D6 Dianthus Barbatus F1‘TELSTAR CARMINE ROSE’> D5 Dianthus Barbatus F1 ‘TELSTAR MIX’> D3 Dianthus Superbus L.> D4 Dianthus Barbatus F1‘DIAMOND’.Therefore,D2 Dianthus Chinensis L.,D7 Dianthus Barbatus ‘FLORAL LACE CRIMSON’and D1 Dianthus Plumarius can be extended in lager areas.[Conclusion]The method of subordinate function value analysis can be used to evaluate ornamental characteristics of Dianthus plants.
