基于线性扩散板的高光抑制方法研究
Specular highlight suppression method based on linear diffuser
摘要
Abstract
Due to the strong reflection property of materials with smooth surfaces like ceramic and metal,it will cause saturation and the highlight phenomenon in the image when taking pictures of those materials.Focused on that problem and taking advantage of the diffusion effect of the diffuser, we design a highlight suppression system based on the linear diffuser.Primarily,we theoretically ana-lyze the diffusing principle of the linear diffuser.Besides,we also analyze the highlight suppressing effect of the diffuser with reflected radiance of the highlight points.Then,we build up the system platform and complete the camera calibration and projector calibration.Finally,we implement 3D ex-periments on obj ects with strong reflecting surfaces like ceramic plate and marble can.Experimental results show that with the help of the linear diffuser,the highlight caused by the strong reflecting sur-face can be well suppressed.The highlight pixel numbers of marble can,ceramic plate,flower pot and cup are decreased by 19.6 times,respectively,5.6 times,4.4 times and 3.9 times,respectively. Diffuser can reduce the reflected radiation of highlight points and suppress highlight.Three-dimen-sional reconstruction results show that highlight areas were significantly reduced.关键词
