Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of folic acid combined with calcium ion antagonist in the treat -ment of elderly patients with hypertension and its effect on blood pressure and homocysteine ( Hcy )levels.Methods One hundred and sixty-six cases of elderly patients with hypertension were selected , which were treated in hospital from January 2014 to September 2015, and they were divided into the observation group ( 83cases ) and control group (83 cases).The pa-tients of two groups were treated with conventional treatment.The patients of control group were treated with folic acid tablets (5mg /time, 1 time /d).On the basis of the control group, the patients of observation group were treated with levamlodipine besylate (5mg /time, 1 time /d).A course of two groups were all 12 weeks.Compare the adverse reactions and follow up of adverse events ,changes of the levels of blood pressure , Hcy, vascular endothelial function, blood lipids and blood glucose of two groups.Results 2 groups of patients after treatment, systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) levels were significantly reduced ( t =6.803, t =6.060, t =10.816, t =10.333, P =0.000, P =0 .000, P =0.000, P =0.000);compared with the control group after treatment, the observation group SBP, DBP levels were not significantly differ-ent ( t =0.173, t =0.398, P =0.000, P =0.000).Hcy, two asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA), high density lipo-protein cholesterol ( HDL-C) significantly decreased.The level of nitric oxide ( NO) , nitric oxide synthase( eNOS) were sig-nificantly increased ( t =4.154, t =2.134, t =2.527, t =2.082, t =6.272, P =0.000, P =0.017, P =0.006, P =0.019, P =0.000) , TC, and TG, FPG, LDL-C no significant change of C ( t =0.757, t =1.282, t =0.746, t =1.423, P =0.225, P =0.100, P =02.28, P =0.078);compare the incidence of 2 groups of patients with adverse reactions and adverse cardiovascular events, there were no significant differences( P >0.05) .Conclusion Folic acid combined with calcium antagonists in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension antihypertensive efficacy, significantly lower plasma Hcy levels, improve vascular endothelial function, good safety, it is worth clinical application.关键词
