Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Chunkang Xuezhi Capsules on ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 mRNA expression of hyper-lipemic rats. Methods 40 Wistar male rats were divided into 4 groups ( 10 rats in each group ) randomly:blank group, model group, sim-vastatin group and Chunkang Xuezhi Capsules group. Hyperlipidemic rats were induced by hyperlipidemic diet for 3 weeks. The Chunkang Xuezhi Capsules group was intragastric administrated with Chunkangxuezhi suspensionl ( 0. 5 g/kg daily ) , the simvastatin group was intragas-tric administrated with simvastatin suspension ( 12 mg/kg daily ) , and the rats in the blank group and the model group were intragastric administrated with equal volume of saline for 9 weeks. The expressions of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 in hepatic tissue were measured by se-mi-quantitative RT-PCR. Results The serum levels of TC , TG and LDL-C in the Chunkang Xuezhi Capsules group were significantly lower than those in the model group ( P < 0. 05 ) , the expressions of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 significantly lower than those in the model group ( all P < 0. 01 ) . Conclusion Chunkang Xuezhi Capsules can regulate the blood lipid levels of hyperlipidemic rats by reducing the expressions of ICAM-1and VCAM-1.关键词
