摘要

Abstract

Focusing on the frequency assignment problem of Local Area Augmentation System( LAAS) ,this paper propose a method based on the concept of Frequency Protected Service Volume ( FPSV ) . Using the radio propagation model and space geometrical relationship, it describes the algorithm of calculating the minimum protected distance between the navigation facilities,which can guarantee the required signal-to-interference ratio of airborne receivers in FPSV. The numerical calculation result matches well with the reg-ulation given by Federal Aviation Administration(FAA),and the method is proved to be simple and effi-cient for frequency assignment on LAAS facilities. So the proposed method can improve spectral efficiency and solve the spectrum scarcity problem.
