摘要

Abstract

The iodide-iodate parallel competing reaction system is used to investigate the micro-mixing performance of two micromixers:a split and recombine micromixer and an interdigital micromixer.The effects of H+ concentration,Re and volume flow ratio of mixing streams on the segregation index in the micromixers are experimentally studied,and the experimental results are analyzed theoretically.The results indicate that,for both micromixers,the proper H+ concentration range is 0.02-0.04 mol/L to obtain the best micro-mixing performance when the volume flow ratio of mixing streams is 1 .It is found that the segregation index increases with the volume flow ratio,which suggests that the micro-mixing performance is lowered.The increase of Re is beneficial to improve the efficiency of micro-mixing.The micro-mixing performance of the split and recombine micromixer is better than that of the interdigital micromixer at the same Re for the studied range of Re.
