Abstract
In this paper, methods used in evaluation and classification of farmland environmental quality in the existing national standards were studied, and corresponding technical plans adopted by the developed countries were also discussed. The results showed that index method was the main method to evaluate the environmental quality of agricultural lands in China, with focus on environmental quality assessment of monitoring points. Regional environmental quality assessment was involved but with poor operability as well as a gap compared to the relative standards stipulated in the developed counties. Then, defects existing in the category classification of farmland environmental quality in China were discussed from the aspects of data support, method selection and protection goal setting and suggestions of improvement were proposed accordingly.关键词
