Environment Impact Assessment of Shale Gas Development Based on Cloud Model

Abstract
In this paper, an environmental impact indicator system of shale gas development was built up from the aspects of atmospheric environment, noise and soil environment, water environment and ecology, and security and sustainability. Furthermore, an environmental impact assessment model of shale gas was established by application of entropy law and cloud model evaluation. Empirical analysis of a national shale gas development demonstration area in Sichuan Province was carried out. The results showed that the environmental impact of shale gas development in this region was in a medium level. The impact of shale gas development was biggest on water environment, followed by air environment, noise and soil environment in a descending order. The impact on ecology, security and sustainability was relatively minimal. Evaluation results of the model were consistent with the current situation of environmental impacts of shale gas development. Finally, relevant policy recommendations were put forward based on the evaluation results.关键词
