Secondary Pollution Control of Medical Waste Treatment by Steam Autoclave Process-- A Case of Xiaogan Medical Waste Disposal Center

Abstract
In this paper, Xiaogan Medical Waste Disposal Center was taken as an example for introduction of a secondary pollution control of medical waste treatment by steam autoclave process. The results showed that by application of biological deodorization process, emission rate of odour gas could meet the corresponding limits required in the Emission Standards for Odor Pollutants (GB 14554-1993). By utilization of combined biochemical and physicochemical treatment process, quality of the effluent complied with level 2 limits required in the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB 8978-1996).关键词
