Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of nursing quality indicators on the prevention of postoperative dislocation of total hip arthroplasty. Methods An evaluation indicator system of nursing quality for the prevention of hip joint prosthesis dislocation was developed based on the evaluation index of nursing quality, including limb position placement accuracy, correct rate of nursing appliance application, turning accuracy, correct rate of bedpan application, accuracy of methods in and out of bed, placement accuracy of bedside cabinet and patients ’ awareness rate of prevention of dislocation. Comparison of quality indicators before implementation (January to December 2014) and after implementation (January to December 2015) was conducted between groups. Results After the implementation of nursing quality indicator management, the correct rate of all indicators was improved ( P<0.001), and the incidence of prosthesis dislocation was significantly lower in 2015 ( P<0.001). Conclusion Nursing quality indicator management is effective for the prevention of prosthesis dislocation and the improvement of the quality of nursing care for patients with hip replacement.关键词
