Effects of Tracking Home Visiting on Improving ADL of Housebound Disabled Seniors
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of tracking home visiting on improving the ability of daily living (ADL) of housebound disabled seniors. Methods Totally 84 housebound disabled seniors were randomly divided into intervention group and control group by convenience sampling method. Patients in control group were treated with conventional community home care. Patients in intervention group were treated with tracking home visiting on the basis of conventional community home care. Two groups of seniors were followed up at home for 3 months. ADL was assessed at enrollment and 1, 2 and 3months after the intervention. Results Intra-group and inter-group ADL comparison of two groups had statistically significant difference after intervention for 3 months ( P<0.01). Conclusion Tracking home visiting can guide the ADL of disabled seniors, and improve the ADL and the quality of life of disabled seniors.关键词
