Abstract
According to the distribution law analysis of local resistance coefficient of gradually expanding hydraulic jump with the one occurring in general stilling basin and basing on the energy equation, the calculation method about the depth of gradually expanding hydraulic jump and the new formula of sequent depth were proposed which were verified accurately by practical engineering and equations existed. The results show that the local resistance coefficient of gradually expanding hydraulic jump varies as logarithmic distribution with the one occurring in general stilling basin while the dispersion angle is less than 9° and the calculation value by the new formula could be meet the requirement of engineering practice. The deviation between new formula with the others existed is gradually decreasing with increasing of upstream Froude number.关键词
