Abstract
Objective:To study the surgical fixation effect on lung function in elderly patients with multiple fractured ribs.Methods:In February 2013 and 2015, 2 in the hospital from June 88 cases of senile multiple rib fracture patients as the research object, the se-quence is divided into the study group and the control group following hospitalization.Given to the control group patients with thoracic fixa-tion for treatment, while giving the study group patients with absorbable intramedullary nail internal fixation.To compare and analyze the therapeutic effect of the two groups.Results:Patients in the study group of rib reduction and the excellent and good rate was 97.7%(43/44), was significantly higher than that in control group (75.0%) (33/44), with significant difference (P <0.05);group of maximal voluntary ventilation was significantly higher than that in control group ,with significant difference (P <0.05);hospitalization time of the patients in the study group, independent ambulation time, pain scores were lower than those in the control group, with significant differ-ence (P <0.05).The patients in the study group hospitalization expenses is higher than that of the control group, the two have signifi-cant difference ( P <0.05) .Conclusion:The absorption of intramedullary nail fixed in the old multiple rib fracture patients should have a good application effect, improve lung function in patients, improve the quality of life, might be a safe and effective multiple rib fracture treatment, worthy of in-depth research and promotion.关键词
