Dynamic Test and Analysis of Vibration Performance of Light Rail Bridge High Piers

Abstract
With reference to a straddle-type monorail transportation bridge, experimental investigation and finite element analysis on vibration characteristics of high piers are performed. Results from FFT and HHT are applied to analyze the vibration characteristics of high piers based on test data respectively. The results show that HHT is better than FFT in signal processing and analyzing. The comparison of the calculated results with the measured data shows that the practical rigidity is greater than theoretical one. The analysis of the vibration characteristics of the high piers indicates that their dynamic performances are good and satisfy the specifications and operating requirements.关键词
