Abstract
As an important part of social life history,the imperial entertainment of the Ming Dynasty had a direct impact on the developing direction and process of the history of the Ming Dynasty.From the o-verall point of view,the imperial entertainment developed from the strict controls in the early Ming Dynas-ty to the gradual relaxation in the middle period and experienced the dramatic fluctuations due to the spe-cial pursuit of some individual emperors such as Wuzong.Unlike the other emperors,the last emperor Chongzhen deliberately controlled the entertainment,but still cannot escape the subj ugated fate.It revealed that the temperance of a specific empreror's entertainment behavior cannot reverse the entire fortune of the country.Therefore the overall abstemious appetite to the entertainment and the healthy development of it are the fundamental factor to avoid the political destruction,public immoral and the national decline.关键词
