马氏珠母贝msi60基因表达量与经济性状的相关分析
Relationship between Gene Expression of msi60 and Economic Traits in Pinctada fucata martensii
摘要
Abstract
Objective] The aim was to analyze the correlations among gene expression levels of msi60,economic trait of shell and economic trait of pearl oyster.[Method] A total of 47 pearl oysters that cultured high quality pearls were selected and ten traits (shell width,shell height,shell length,hinge length,total shell weight,left shell weight,thickness of shell nacreous layer,pearl diameter,pearl weight and thickness of pearl na-creous layer) of the selected samples were measured.The correlations among gene expression levels of msi60,economic traits of shell and econom-ic traits of pearl were analyzed.[Result] All of the economic traits of pearls were significantly correlated with shell width ,shell length,total shell weight and left shell weight.It was assumed that the growth status of host oyster affects pearl culture.It was found that gene expression levels of msi60 in mantle center were correlated with pearl weight(P=0.059).What’s more,thickness of shell and pearl nacreous layer were significantly correlated with each other(P=0.019).[Conclusion] Gene expression of msi60 is correlated with economic traits of pearl.The study will enrich the information for elucidating the molecular mechanism of biomineralization .关键词
