ENVIRONMENTAL IMAGE EDGE DETECTION USING IMPROVED MULTIFRACTAL METHOD
摘要
Abstract
Fractal is an algorithm most close to the nature,and is widely used in every field of lives.Study finds that although the simple fractal algorithm can well deal with image information,however,with the enhancement of image precision,we use the multifractal thereby which improves the accuracy with better processing effect.Due to the complexity of the environment and the difficult-in-recognition rate,in reality very few environmental images have been processed by people.The article introduces the implementation of multifractal theory algo-rithm analysis,and the detection and processing of image edges through the improved multifractal method.By using traditional edge detection algorithm,blankets method and multi-scale box dimension,the multifractal method is experimentised and compared.Finally,by processing it with median filter,the improved multifractal derived has high processing precision,high speed and good effect,and is suitable for processing the images in complicated environment.关键词
