摘要

Abstract

If the gain of the tracking receiver is kept unchanged,the signal will be lost when it is too weak, and the re-ceiver blocked when it is too strong. In order to make the tracking receiver automatically adjust the gain according to the in-put signal strength,automatic gain control ( AGC) is especially important. Therefore,in this paper,a new algorithm combi-ning indices and logarithms and on the foundation of traditional digital AGC algorithm is proposed, which can reduce the convergence time of the output signal. In the end,the performance of the new algorithm is simulated with MATLAB.
