Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effects of conbercept intravitreal injections for the treatment of choroidal neovascularization (CNV)in pathologic myopia. Methods The clinical records of 19 patients (19 eyes ) with choroidal neovascularization in pathologic myopia were retrospectively reviewed in our hospital. All patients were treated by intravitreal injections of conbercept 0.5 mg (0.05 mL)as the first initial measurement. The best corrected visual acuity (BCVA),fluorescence fundus angiography (FFA), optical coherence tomography (OCT)and intraocular pressure were observed at 1 month,3 month and 6 month after operation.During the follow-up period, intravitreal injections of conbercept were performed again if active CNV,CNV expansion or new CNV were observed. Results At follow-up period of 1 month,3 month,6 month, compared with preoperative (0.14 ±0.03);the BCVA were improved (all P <0.05),at 6 month it was (0.43 ±0.04).Compared with preoperative (304.80 ±17.62)μm,the central macular thickness(CMT)were decreased(all P <0.05),at 6 month it was (230.10 ±6.85)μm.At 6 month CNV was completely closed in 16 eyes, and almost closed in 3 eyes by FFA.During the follow-up period,9 eyes were treated with 1 time of intravitreal injection,8 eyes were 2 times, and 2 eyes were 3 times.Only 2 cases had increased transient intraocular pressure, and returned to normal after drug treatment. Conclusion Intravitreal injections of conbercept might be a safe and effective treatment method for treating choroidal neovascularization in pathologic myopia.关键词
