中国玉米生产消费的时空格局及供需平衡态势
Temporal and spatial patterns of corn production, consumption and the balance of supply and demand in China
摘要
Abstract
Corn growth is one of the main forces of China’s grain growth in recent years. It has become the ifrst major crop with the largest planting area and the total output in China. Applying the tools of empirical mode decomposition, standard deviation, production concentration and space center statistics, this paper systematically analyzed the characteristics of the temporal and spatial patterns of China’s corn production, consumption, and circulation from 1978 to 2014. Results show that: 1) From 1978 to 2014, China’s corn production showed increasing trend with some lfuctuations and it can be divided into 4 stages by the years of 1984, 1993, and 2003 separately. China’s corn output has increased by 150 million tons from 1978 to 2014. For nearly 30 years, China’s corn production tended to be concentrated and the gravity center has moved northeastward about 174.65 km; 2) from 1980 to 2014, China’s corn consumption was overall increasing, with 3/5 consumption being forage and 1/3 consumption being industrial usage with a growing trend in recent years; and 3) from the spatial perspective, corn consumption is widely distributed and the industrial consumption is relatively concentrated; and it also shows an unbalanced distribution with circulation moving from the west to the east and from the north to the south.关键词
