Abstract
ABSTRACT:A novel approach was proposed to determine the location and capacity of reactive power compensation for large-scale power systems. This approach considered not only the overall load capacity of the system but also the ability of vulnerable nodes to resist load disturbance. This paper firstly designed the vulnerability indicator for vulnerable nodes recognition in the system, and then the voltage stability optimization model was established. Finally self-adaptive Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) algorithm was improved to solve the optimization model. Comparing to the traditional optimal power flow (OPF) algorithms, this work demonstrates high optimization ability and calculation performance. The robustness and practicability of the method were tested in standard and real systems.关键词
