Abstract
Objective: To establish a high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) for determining the content of benzalkonium bromide in oxymetazoline hydrochloride nasal drops.Methods:A Waters XBridgeTM Shield RP18 column(4.6 mm ×250 mm,5μm) was used with a mobile phase of 0.005 mol・L-1 ammonium acetate solution ( consisting of 10 mL triethylamine per 1000 mL, adjusted to pH5.0 by glacial acetic acid)-acetonitrile(40:60) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL・min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 214 nm, and the column temperature was 25 ( C.Results:The concentration of benzalkonium bromide in the range of 0.0109~0.327 mg・mL-1 showed good liner relation with the peak area (r=0.9995, n=6).The average recovery was 100.1%,RSD=1.0%,(n=9).Conclusions:The method can be used for the content determination of benzalkonium bromide in Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride Nasal Drops which pro-vides the advantage of simplicity, accuraty and repeatability.关键词
