摘要

Abstract

This paper proposes capacitor current pulse train (CC-PT) control technique for buck converter. Different from the conventional pulse train (PT) control technique, the high and low power control pulses of CC-PT control which have the same frequency but different duty cycles are generated, by sensing the capacitor current and comparing with two different control currents. The control principle and character of CC-PT-controlled Buck converter operating in both discontinuous condition mode (DCM) and continuous conduction mode (CCM) are presented. The theoretical analysis shows that taken the capacitor current as the current inner loop, the inductor current ripple is limited and the low-frequency oscillation phenomenon can be eliminate effectively. The experimental results show that CC-PT control benefits from fast transient response, furthermore, the steady-state performance of CC-PT-controlled buck converter is better than that of PT-controlled buck converter.
