Abstract
To investigate the immune efficiency of highly pathogenic porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (HP-PRRS) vaccination in Xianyou County in 2015, we detected serum antibody levels in HP-PRRSV vaccinated pigs. The samples were collected from 18 towns in Xianyou County during the 2015 spring and autumn prevention of animal diseases. A total of 1535 sera were tested, including 765 and 770 samples collected from spring and autumn prevention, while the seropositive rates were 96.6% and 93.8%, respectively. The results indicate that HP-PRRS antibody levels are high in swine herds in Xianyou County and the centralized monitoring is an effective method to prevent and control the occurrence and prevalence of PRRS.关键词
