Study on Fault Diagnosis Methods Based on Dynamic Energy Index of Piston Rod

Abstract
The piston rod is the core moving part of reciprocating compressor.The large gas forces and reciprocating inertia force will cause fatigue fracture on the rod and will lead to some vicious incidents such as striking the cylinder,leakage of the compres-sor medium or fire explosion.Effective monitoring and fault diagnosis of piston rod working condition is the key to avoid vicious faults.This paper adopt a positive method using the axial dynamic energy index to evaluate the actual running state of the piston rod.The axis orbit,vertical and horizontal instantaneous motion energy of the piston rod could be calculated by vertical and hori-zontal displacement signal.Combined with typical monitoring parameters of piston rod displacement,the monitoring system can re-alize early warming of typical wear fault,looseness fault and fracture fault which is verified by the actual fault data.关键词
