Abstract
With the improvement of people's living standard, the material needs and spiritual needs of consumers have reached a new historical high. The public demand for the design of products is also transferred from the basic material needs to spiritual needs. As a result, the relationship between functional and artistic design is revisited. This paper discusses the problems in the application of functional and artistic in design, and puts forward the corresponding solutions. Through this paper, trying to ilustrate the importance of functionality and artistry to lead the designer realize the concrete application of "form folows function" theory and the two features are interdependent and mutual development. To correct the wrong practice of some designers' exaggerate the artistic function and manifest the"people-oriented" design concept.关键词
